Nguyen Ha Thanh

Nguyen Ha Thanh, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor at VinUniversity, Hanoi, Vietnam, and a researcher affiliated with the Center for Juris-Informatics, Tokyo, Japan. His research focuses on legal information retrieval, automated legal reasoning, neuro-symbolic AI integration, and knowledge representation.

Joel Niklaus

Joel Niklaus, Ph.D.

Research Scientist at Hugging Face, focusing on developing and evaluating legal-domain LLM systems. His research emphasizes multilingual dataset curation for legal NLP and has been recognized at top conferences including an Outstanding Paper Award at ACL.

Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang, Ph.D.

Clinical Assistant Professor in the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha Department of Data Science at the University of North Texas, USA. His research focuses on emerging AI paradigms, text mining, large language models, reasoning, retrieval-augmented generation, AIoT, and cybersecurity.

Yu Fan

Researcher at ETH Zurich working at the intersection of machine learning, natural language processing, and legal AI. His research focuses on building, evaluating, and stress-testing AI systems for legal reasoning, robustness, cross-jurisdictional generalization, and high-stakes evaluation.
